 My Home Town – Polonnaruwa







My hometown is Polonnaruwa, which is one of the most historic and beautiful places in Sri Lanka. It is well known for its ancient ruins and cultural heritage that attract many tourists every year. The city was once a great capital, and it still preserves the glory of the past. I really love visiting places like Gal Vihara, which shows amazing stone carvings. Another special place is Parakrama Samudra, which adds beauty and value to the area. The environment in Polonnaruwa is calm, green, and peaceful. People in my hometown are friendly and kind, which makes it even more special. I am very proud to call Polonnaruwa my hometown and I always feel happy when I am there.

I would love to see iconic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon. The USA is also famous for its advanced technology, education system, and economic strength. I believe visiting this country will give me valuable experiences and knowledge about different cultures. It will also help me improve my English communication skills and broaden my mindset. Traveling to the United States is one of my biggest dreams for the future. I hope to explore its beauty and create unforgettable memories one day.
